Getting started
How long until I hear back?
We aim to reply within one business day after a submission. If we are slammed, it can stretch to two — but we do reply, even when the answer is a no.
Do I need to apply for a specific position?
No. You can pick a role from the list or send a general application. General applications are reviewed weekly and matched against new openings.
What information do you need from me?
First and last name, plus at least one contact (email or phone). Everything else is optional and only helps us route your application faster.
Do you charge candidates anything?
No. Our work is paid by the employers and study partners. You will never be asked for a fee, a deposit, or a payment for processing.
Working abroad
Which countries do you place candidates in?
The list rotates as employer contracts open and close. We do not advertise destinations we do not actively place to — send a short application and we will tell you what is open right now.
Do you handle visa and paperwork?
Yes. For overseas roles we run the visa stage in-house, prepare all employer-side documents, and brief you before departure. The candidate handles only what only they can — like passport renewal.
How long does it take from offer to first day abroad?
Usually four to twelve weeks, depending on country and employer. Your recruiter gives you a realistic timeline at the offer stage and updates it weekly.
Study programs
Do I have to take a course before you place me?
Not at all. Many candidates go straight to a vacancy. Courses are for candidates who need to add a language or a skill before a specific destination becomes possible.
Where are the courses run?
Our own programs run in Bishkek. We also work with partner schools abroad — for candidates who want a longer stay or a formal qualification on top of work.
Can the course lead directly into a job?
Yes. Most of our programs feed into the same employer pipeline. If you finish a Skill Bridge language program, your file is already in front of the recruiters who place into the matching destinations.
Privacy and data
Will my CV be sent to other companies without my consent?
No. We share your profile with an employer only after you confirm that you want us to. The default is that nobody outside Skill Bridge sees it.
Can I ask you to delete my data?
Yes. Send a request from the email you applied with and we remove your record. We keep only what we are legally required to retain.
I applied a while ago and never got a response — what now?
Send us a fresh application or message. Sometimes a reply lands in spam, and very rarely a record is mishandled on our side. Either way, we will check the queue and follow up.
